KAITSU® F-300 Series

KAITSU® F-300 Series represents a new modified generation of polycarboxylated hyperplasticisers specifically
developed to achieve high performance concrete properties. KAITSU® F-300 Series conforms to ASTM C494​ Type F, BS EN934 Part 2 and JIS A6204.
Use
KAITSU® F-300 Series uses include to produce flowing concrete for large pours and precast elements. KAITSU®
F-300 Series may also be used where substantial water reductions are required to provide high early and ultimate
strengths e.g. in precast factories.

Dosage
KAITSU® F-300 Series can vary with type of applications, normally range from 600 g to 1500 g / 100 kg of
cementitious material or binder. Accidental overdosing of KAITSU® F-300 Series causes an extension of
setting time of concrete. If this happens, consult supplier as soon as possible.

Shelf life
12 months after production date, kept within the range of 5oc to 40oc.
Application
KAITSU® F-300 Series is suitable for use with all types of Portland cements, OPC, SRC cements and cement
replacement materials such as PFA, GGBFS and micro-silica KAITSU® F-300 Series should not be used in
conjunction with any other admixture unless prior approval is obtained from local KAITSU technical
support.
Mixing
KAITSU® F-300 Series should be added in the mixing water. In some instances, e.g. addition to ready mix
concrete on site, KAITSU® F-300 Series can be added directly in the truck mixer and mixed at maximum
speed for an extra 5 to 10 minutes till a proper mixing is achieved. The correct quantity of KAITSU®
F-300 Series should be measured by means of a recommended dispenser. The admixture should then be
added to the concrete with the mixing water to obtain the best results.
Health and safety
KAITSU® F-300 Series does not fall into the hazard classifications of current regulations. However, it should
not be swallowed or allowed to come into contact with skin and eyes. Suitable protective gloves and
goggles should be worn. Splashes on the skin should be removed with water. In case of contact with
eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. If swallowed seek medical
attention immediately – Do not induce vomiting.

KAITSU® F-300 Series is Non-flammable.
Cleaning and disposal
Spillages of KAITSU® F-300 Series should be absorbed onto sand or earth and transferred to suitable
containers. Remnants should be hosed down with large quantities of water. The disposal of excess
or waste material should be carried out in accordance with local legislation under the guidance of
the local waste regulatory authority.
